Back at work after a month off and the first feeling I have right now is that WORK SUCKS! Could have stayed on vacation a few more weeks instead of coming back. But what can one do, guess I have to start working again and trying to do something productive for a change. Anyway, waiting for the next vacation (whenever that might be)...

And finally it begins... My summer vacation! I've been waiting for this break for some time now and this blog post is the last thing I do at work before I'm off for four weeks. I'm most probably spending most of my vacation countryside so there probably won't be any updates coming in August on the website. But now I'll sign off with Joe Satriani's Summer Song.

It had been five years since our previous winter cruise to Stockholm, so we decided to revive the tradition and head to the capital of Sweden once again. The cruise went well as you can see on the newly added photos of the cruise. We had almost the same posse as on our two previous trips to Tallinn. Only change was that Jari was there with us instead of Jyri. The whole cruise posse was: Antti "antman on kusipää" Manninen, Jari "toi on maailman kaunein nainen" Väänänen, Sami "Rave pilaa aina meidän reissut" Luoto and Tero "vuoden mulkku" Puumalainen.

As the visitors of this site have probably noticed, I don't tend to write anything personal on this blog. Well, I just decided to write something since I'm really bored at work. I still have one week and one day left of work before the summer vacation kicks in and then I don't need to come to work for a month. July is so quiet time here at work with nothing creative to do, so basically I'm just surfing the net and spending time as best as I can. The good part is that the vacation is still ahead and not already spent. Most probably there won't be any updates coming on the site during August since I'll be away from home most of the time anyway.

Vacation is over and I've been back to work today. To tell the truth, it has been hellish waking up at seven in the morning because during the vacation I would normally have been sleeping for two hours by that time. Well, hopefully it will get easier in the coming days, weeks and months of work.

Woohoo, just the last few minutes of work going on and then I'm off for four weeks. Most probably spending most of my vacation countryside out of reach of the internet so there probably won't be any updates coming this month on the website.

We went on a pilgrimage to the holy land of Estonia in mid May with the exact same group as previous year (Antti "antman" Manninen, Sami "Rave" Luoto, Tero "BabCom" Puumalainen and Jyri "Pekka-Niska" Rahkonen). The tradition of calling these trips to Tallinn as pilgrimages to the holy land was started by Alessandro Maccari some years ago. Anyway we had some blast on the trip and I just added the photos of the trip as a new category on the gallery. You can see the photos of the trip in the category Tallinn 2008.
