PS. Made a quick and dirty update to my old template as well to get it working with the new version. Some features are missing, but I'll concentrate on those when I have more time.

Guestbook removed

Decided to remove the guestbook from this site. This was due to two things:

It became obsolete with no real visitors posting in it.
Lately it started receiving lots of spam posts.

Open Graph protocol metadata tweaking

Just made some minor changes to the Open Graph protocol metadata used on antman.info website. This isn't visible to end users in any way unless you share something to Facebook for example. In case you are not familiar with Open Graph protocol, it simply enables any web page to become a rich object in a social graph. For instance, it is used on Facebook to allow any web page to have the same functionality as any other object on Facebook.

JavaScript library update

Updated jQuery JavaScript library from version 1.8.0 to version 1.8.3. The library is used in the menu of the site and in the photo galleries.

New jokes added

Three updates

Made three different updates on the antman.info website at the same time. Things that have been changed in this update process include the following:

upgraded Serendipity used on this blog page from version 1.6 to version 1.6.2
upgraded AlexGuestbook used on the guestbook page from version 5.0.3 to version 5.0.4
removed Lightbox feed from the miscellaneous section because I have now deactivated my Lightbox account (due to Lightbox joining Facebook and they will shut down their site after June 15th)

Small bug fix

Fixed a small minor bug that appeared in the guestbook after the update to version 5.0.3.

Actually it's really weird that the update from 5.0.2 to 5.0.3 worked as it was supposed to and everything was working fine for a while, but the bug that disabled the whole guestbook appeared 10 days after the initial update. Anyway, now it has been fixed and the guestbook is working again.

Miscellaneous section is back

The miscellaneous section has been re-enabled on the site. This section is meant for stuff that doesn't belong to any other category. At the moment the sub sections include three feeds from various social networking sites where I post updates/photos and other stuff. Those three feeds include Tumblr feed and Twitter feed. I also added the user scripts section in this category, although it is still under construction, but should be ready in the near future.

Minor bug fixes

Fixed some minor bugs and made some tweaking into the menu. The changes in the menu were done because I started using Apache mod_rewrite module to adjust the urls of the blog entries. This means I also had to move the Twitter feed outside the blog path.

Domain update

The domain has been updated, so now the site works both with antman.info and www.antman.info urls.

New layout and major code tweaking

Just finished uploading the files of a major layout update on the site. All the pages have now been given a new layout and many things in the code of the site have been completely redone. There might still be some bugs and in case some are found, I will be fixing them in the near future. I hope you enjoy the new site.
