Just finished updating the maps page under the wolf section, because yesterday BlAcky released b3 version of his map Library and today eiM and xeoxis released b4 version of their map C2 Missile In case you're interested in testing the maps, those can be downloaded here:

Happy Valentine's Day to all friends and foes! Hyvää Ystävänpäivää kaikille ystäville ja vihamiehille!

I have always thought of this "holiday" an American invention, but later discovered that Saint Valentine's Day, commonly shortened to Valentine's Day was first established by Pope Gelasius I in 496 AD, and was later deleted from the General Roman Calendar of saints in 1969 by Pope Paul VI.

As the modern Valentine's Day symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid, I decided to put Tux in a festive form for this post. Anyway, I still belive that Scooter said it best: Let Me Be Your Valentine!

Miscellaneous section is back

The miscellaneous section has been re-enabled on the site. This section is meant for stuff that doesn't belong to any other category. At the moment the sub sections include three feeds from various social networking sites where I post updates/photos and other stuff. Those three feeds include Lightbox feed, Tumblr feed and Twitter feed. I also added the user scripts section in this category, although it is still under construction, but should be ready in the near future.

antman.info is back online after about six hours of SOPA strike against internet censorship.

Internet goes on strike - blackout everywhere and antman.info has joined the strike to stop the internet censorship bills, SOPA & PIPA. Even though I don't live in the US, I fully support the fight against the internet censorship.

Crossfire 4.0 Beta user script

I got inspired by this journal, so I made a small user script for Greasemonkey that changes the layout of the Crossfire 4.0 Beta:

new background
removed the rotator
removed twitter feed (useless since it's showing only one item which is typically a link to a news post)
moved the Other News, Events, Poll and Recent Activity to the top of the page
minor tweaking in colors

ETPro page download statistics

Today has been exactly three years since I updated the etpro section with Jeebles directory (see this blog post: Wolf section changes). At the same time the download counter started running and counting how many times each file has been downloaded. The counter has always been hidden from viewers, but today I thought of creating small stats about the download counts. So I made a small table of the top downloaded files. You can see the table below:

Welcome to 2012!

I would like to wish a happy new year to you all! This is the year of the 2012 phenomenon and many believe the world will come to an end on December 21st. Personally I don't believe in any of that shit, but it remains to be seen what will happen this year. Hopefully it will be better than the previous years. Anyway, without further ado I'll just say: Welcome to 2012!

Minor bug fixes

Fixed some minor bugs and made some tweaking into the menu. The changes in the menu were done because I started using Apache mod_rewrite module to adjust the urls of the blog entries. This means I also had to move the Twitter feed outside the blog path.
