Just updated the best of the 2009 Darwin Awards to the jokes section of the pages. Even though the Darwin Awards are not really jokes, they're so hilarious that I just have to have them on the jokes section of the site. You can read the newly added 2009 Darwin Awards here.

If you are not familiar with the Darwin Awards, those are simply in honor of Charles Darwin, the Darwin Awards commemorate those who improve our gene pool... by accidentally removing themselves from it. This award is generally bestowed posthumously. You might also want to check out The Darwin Awards website.

It had been five years since our previous winter cruise to Stockholm, so we decided to revive the tradition and head to the capital of Sweden once again. The cruise went well as you can see on the newly added photos of the cruise. We had almost the same posse as on our two previous trips to Tallinn. Only change was that Jari was there with us instead of Jyri. The whole cruise posse was: Antti "antman on kusipää" Manninen, Jari "toi on maailman kaunein nainen" Väänänen, Sami "Rave pilaa aina meidän reissut" Luoto and Tero "vuoden mulkku" Puumalainen.

There are some updates on the wolf section of the pages:

All small bugs in the code have now been fixed and all pages have been validated with the W3C Markup Validation Service. At the same time I went through the CSS and it has also now been validated with the W3C CSS Validation Service. This means that there shouldn't be any bugs on the code itself, but in case you find anything out of place, let me know.

A long time has passed since the previous update on the pages so I decided to change everything (again) at once. The site has a new layout, which is much simpler than the previous one. The layout change is not the only change I made, even though the content is pretty much the same it used to be. Main changes are on the code, now there is only the top menu, which is created with jQuery Multi Level CSS Menu. This means that I also changed the JavaScript library on the site from script.aculo.us to jQuery. After a brief testing everything seems to work fine, but in case you discover any bugs on the site, please let me know.

Just finished updating the maps page under the wolf section of the pages, because yesterday eiM and xeoxis released beta3 version of their map C2 Missile. In case you're interested in testing the map, it can be downloaded here:

As the visitors of this site have probably noticed, I don't tend to write anything personal on this blog. Well, I just decided to write something since I'm really bored at work. I still have one week and one day left of work before the summer vacation kicks in and then I don't need to come to work for a month. July is so quiet time here at work with nothing creative to do, so basically I'm just surfing the net and spending time as best as I can. The good part is that the vacation is still ahead and not already spent. Just finished updating the maps page under the wolf section of the pages, because I added the map C2 Missile to the page. The reason for this is the fact that the first public beta has been released and I've been contributing to the creative process of the map since alpha 4 version. I've made the location override database and the etpro shader fix for custom command map icons for this map. Of course been sharing some ideas as well.
